No Virtual Schools Here! The Late Summer Bite is Up Close and Personal!

The legendary San Diego summertime offshore action is giving way to our intense Fall angling excitement!  Our anglers continue to experience fantastic trips and stellar catches including LIMITS!!

As you can see below, we love to see families have great fishing experiences that they can share for a lifetime. When is the last time that you fished together as a family? Why don’t you give us a call and we can make it happen in beautiful San Diego!

As you can see, the Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail are snapping! We are even getting our limit on some days. Do you want to experience cockpit chaos, come aboard the Swell Chaser for an offshore Tuna trip. These fish are real brutes and test anglers and tackle. This is why we are heavily invested in the best tackle and gear possible to give our customers the highest probabilities at catching trophy fish!

Just check out this limit of Bluefish and some Yellowfin mixed in.

We love seeing our clients battle these fish and go home and enjoy the highest grade sushi!

Aboard the Wanu, we are enjoying great fishing with great clients on our day trips. Rockfish and Reds have been the target species and we have been getting a lot of them! It is fun for the whole family.

We also ran a birthday trip on a 1/2 day and our Junior Anglers Crushed it! Way to go!

The Spring Bite is Underway Here in San Diego!

Spring Break is here and family fishing fun has kicked into another gear here in San Diego.  As you can see below, we are privileged and humbled to fish with some of the best families in the world fishing with us.  As all of our clients will tell you, we are kid-friendly and welcome anglers of all experience and all ages to come enjoy this amazing fishery!

Family Trip – 3 Generations Of Fisher Folks!

Captain Brian running the Swell Chaser and first mate Hale on the back deck for this morning’s trip. Slow fishing produced a pair of small halibut, 3 rockfish and a lingcod. All safely released.

Captain Jon running the Wanu and first mate Hale on the back deck. Nice day on the water for a family from Kentucky. The fishing wasn’t wide open but managed a nice bag of fish. They caught 13 rockfish and 4 boccacio.

Captain Hale running the Swell Chaser and first mate Brandon on the back deck on their way back in. Beautiful afternoon half day for our family group of four from Nebraska. Steady action on the ground fish with a nice pin back shark to end the trip. They caught 2 ling cod, 1 sheephead,18 rockfish (5 released), 1 copper, 2 whitefish, 1 sand dab (released) and 1 pin back shark (released).
